Aronia berries: at the top of the antioxidants league

Research shows that aronia berries and juice have a stronger antioxidant effect than comparable fruits. Aronia berry juice activity is four and five times greater than that of blackberry and cranberry juice, respectively.

Natural antioxidants are important for maintaining good health. There is strong evidence that free radicals cause oxidative damage to proteins, cells and DNA. The free radicals that are created in our body by factors such as the consumption of unhealthy foods, stress and environmental pollution.
